Attempted GTA...?

Not too sure what went on last night at 1:03 AM, if anything, but it sure was weird...

So I was pretty dead after work yesterday, so I was in bed by about 10:30, and I was out as soon as my head in the pillow. Little did I know that sleep wasn't going to be for long...

At 1:03 AM I was awoken by my Mom yelling at me from my door, that something was going on outside with the Jeep, and that the alarm was going off. First of all, she scared the sh*t out of me. I couldn't see, I was half asleep, and someone was yelling at me in the middle of the night...

After I process what was going on, I rocket out of bed, and run to see what was going on. My first thought was automatically that someone is trying to steal my Jeep, so I was freaking out. I head outside to see my Jeep sitting in the driveway with all it's lights flashing, and beeping like crazy! So I do it's little disarm procedure and get everything shut off.

Something had to off set the alarm off... The Jeep has never just randomly set off it's alarm like that in the many years I've had it. The only time it goes off is when the door gets opened when it's told to be locked, or when someone tries to get out when the door is locked. And it just so happens that the right rear door, and the hatch were unlocked... but were told to be locked... (I recently discovered that the drivers side lock/unlock button won't lock those 2 doors) With that being the case, if someone tried to get in from one of those two doors, the alarm would have been set off... And because I was tired after work that day, I never took the time to lock them manually and they were left open.

I think either someone saw that one of the doors was not locked, and tried to get in, or the Jeep just decided to freak out for no reason... Must have had a bad day or something.

Either way, It was was messed up... and I am paranoid about it now. And to further add to my paranoia, I read in the Lethbridge Herald the morning after, that vehicle theft is sky rocketing right now in the Greater Calgary area... :| AND that Jeeps (of all makes and models) were on the top 10 list of targeted vehicles... I kid you not! Not sure if Lethbridge is included in the Greater Calgary area...but.

So yeah. I am gonna keep going on thinking that everyone is trying to "snatch my ride" and that everyone is after me...

Done.

Alright bro...
First mistake, sleeping at 10:30?
Remeber what I taught you. We gotta stay one step ahead of the criminals, and that means staying up later than them.
