Hey Winter...SIT ON IT!

Winter has officially moved into Lethbridge...and it's pissed. Overnight, we got about 7 inches of snow, and it doesn't look like it's planning on slowly down any time soon. The snow isn't the bad part...that is expected. The subzero temperatures on the other hand are ridiculous! I went to bed lastnight at about 2:00 AM, and the temperature was a chilling -22° C, which was lame enough... However, I woke up at 4:45 to go to the bathroom, and I checked the temp...To my disbelief, it was -32°C! Now that's not unheard of, but you have to remember that's -32° without a windchill... And Lethbridge is notorious for it's retardedly high winds, and lastnight did not disappoint. By Morning it was about -27°...but atleast the wind had died down... The weather better get it's act together before Friday morning... If I have to stand outside for a 4 and a half hour lab in this, I am going to be so pissed off...or dead, which ever comes first...

If this is what winter in Lethbridge is gonna be like, I'm not looking forward to the next 4 months of it... :S

So today, November 14th, was the release of Plus 44's debut CD. Plus 44 is Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker's (Along with Shane Gallagher and Craig Fairbaugh) new project after the "indefinite hiatus" of Blink 182. You can definitely hear the strong feelings being portrayed in this album. (My guess is that they are focused at Ex-Blink 182 member Tom Delonge)

I had downloaded it quite some time ago, however I purchased the CD today to show my support for the band. It's a great listen and I suggest that if you enjoyed Blink 182 that you should give +44 a listen. It is a great CD!

I am now working on my 4th can on Red Bull, I have 7 hours until my Physics midterm, and I am wired! And I mean absolutely gone! If someone held a gun to my head and told me to go to sleep...I would be shot. I am bouncing off the walls, I can't even focus on studying anymore. I've been pumping techno in my ears for the last 3 hours and have had my head in my book since 8. I had no idea how to do this stuff before...but with a cocktail of liquid fuel and rich bass, I am starting to get a grasp of it. I have had to take numerous breaks...because of the fear that my heart will explode... But all is well. This is my last midterm, and the Remembrance Day long weekend is coming up and I'm pumped. I'm headed for Shaunavon to kick it with everyone and to mix up some shit ( I mean that in the best way...really) . It should be a good time!


Anyway, back to another one of those block rockin' beats... ;)

MEMO: Busy

Yeah...about posting stuff...I've been busy. And to be honest, I don't have anything to post, and even if I did, I don't feel like doing it anyway. I've been so swamped with midterms and assignments lately, if I get any spare time, its usually spent zoning out completely on something very trivial or something that takes minimal brain power to do. Once everything settles down, I hope to get some computerly things done (My desktop is an absolute wreck) and maybe get to bed before 2:30...Anyway, back to studying.
